Dear Applicants, Travel Agents and Representatives.

All applicants are required to book an appointment online for submitting their visa applications at the Joint Schengen Visa Application Centre.

Important When attending your appointment you must take with you a print out of your appointment confirmation, a print out of your visa application and supporting documents. Please arrive 15 Minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Please be aware if you arrive any earlier, you may not be admitted to the application center. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, you need to re- book a future appointment date or you can avail the Walk in service which will cost you INR 2600.

Important: As part of the visa application procedure, from 02 November 2015 applicants will need to provide Biometric fingerprint data along with a digital photograph. If you have temporary injuries on your fingers, applicants are advised to wait until the injuries have healed before you book your appointment. Henna on fingertips may also mean we are unable to get a clear scanned image and should be removed or allowed to fade before your appointment date.

Important: “If Applicant is not completing appointment process within 5 working days after registration then your record will be deleted automatically by system”

Before you make an appointment, applicants should carefully read the visa application process available on the website to submit their visa applications and supporting documentations at the Visa Application Centre. Please make sure you arrive at the visa application center 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. Applicants are not allowed to be accompanied inside the visa application center. The only exceptions to this are those accompanying children under 18 years-of-age or applicants who need special assistance for health reasons or disability.

If you are part of a family, each member of the family must make an individual appointment. For example, if you are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children you must make 4 individual appointments.

For Group Cases, Travel Agents are requested to contact our dedicate helpline number 022-67866042 to procure a preferred slot for submitting their applications at Joint Schengen Visa Application Centres across India.

VFS appointment system is compatible with most popular browsers.

Please note it may take more than the prescribed time, mentioned on your appointment letter, while submitting your application at any VFS Centre. Applicants will be issued -a token at the Application Centre and the processing time will vary depending on the number of the Applications presented at the counters by individuals.

Applicants shall be levied a service charge of INR 1380/-(All VFS’s service charges are inclusive of Goods & Service Tax –SGST @9% and CGST@9%) and convenience fees of INR 150 payable for provision of multiple mode of payment. For Long term Visa Applications (Students more than 90 days, Family Reunification & Visa Applications for Special Categories)

Kindly Note:- The Processing time for clients who wish to apply directly at the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi would be minimum 15 Working Days. Appointment needs to be booked for each applicant separately including Minors.

Rescheduling an appointment:

You are allowed to reschedule your appointment twice and up to 2 working days prior to your scheduled date.

Further change in date will be considered as a fresh appointment and a new service charge will be applicable.

Cancelling an appointment:

If you wish to cancel your appointment, the service charges will not be refunded. Appointments can be cancelled only 2 working days prior to the scheduled date.

IMPORTANT: The payment for this transaction is valid for this appointment ONLY. Please take a fresh appointment if you have not used the appointment selected for this transaction

Refund Policy:

  1. The applicant needs to email for the refund to refunds@vfshelpline.com or call at 022-67866072 (Call Centre) and provide the following details.

    1. Web Reference Number/ Transaction ID
    2. Name and passport number
    3. Contact details of the applicant
    4. Date of Transaction
