    Please note the Switzerland visa application centres in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be closed on Sunday, 01 September 2019 on the occasion of Al Hijri – Islamic New Year.

    The visa processing and normal operations will commence from Monday, 02 September 2019.

    Applicants are requested to plan their travel accordingly, and are requested to make a note of the holiday period in order to submit their applications.

    Visa Waiver for UAE Nationals

    The European Union and the Government of the UAE signed a visa-waiver agreement for UAE Nationals.

    Effective 7 May 2015, UAE nationals no longer need to apply for a Schengen visa and can travel to the Schengen countries with a valid passport.

    In our endeavor to enhance our customer service, the Passport Collection timings has been revised to start from 09:00 up to 17:00 on all working days. You are requested to present the Original fee receipt in order to collect your passport from the Visa Application Centre where you submitted your application. Representatives will also need to present an authorization letter from the passport holder along with their photo ID copy.

    Important Reminder - Incomplete Documents and Delayed Applicants:

    Applicants with incomplete documents who have already been served at their specific appointment time slots will not be served again on the same day and will need to book another appointment.

    Applicants who arrive late for their appointments will not be served after their appointment time slots and will need to book another appointment.

    Re-scheduling or Cancelling an Appointment:

    Rescheduling is possible up to 2 working days before the appointment date. It is not possible thereafter and the applicant will have to book another appointment, paying the fee again. Applicants can re-schedule their appointments only once without any extra charge or re-payment of the service fees.

    Cancellation of Appointment is possible up to 2 working days prior to appointment date; there is no refund of service charges on cancellation of an appointment. It is not possible thereafter and the applicant will have to book another appointment by paying the fee again.

    Please note that service charges are non-refundable in all circumstances and Once the application is submitted at the Visa Application Centre, visa fees are non-refundable.
